The Gorzow Philharmonic wishes to celebrate the start of the 2013 – 2014 season both with European and Polish music. The concert shall open with one of the most original and fascinating pieces composed for orchestra in the 1st half of the 20th century: Eugeniusz Morawski’s symphonic poem Nevermore.  The repertoire also includes Brahms’s most romantic symphony – Symphony in C- minor, op. 68,  and a contemporary piece by Marcin Błażewicz – Concerto for Marimba and Orchestra, performed by the Gorzow Philharmonic Orchestra with Marta Klimasara, an outstanding marimba player.
