Another event that successfully intertwines the most brilliant classical pieces with Polish contemporary compositions. The concert features Beethoven’s Symphony No.8, which abounds in references to the Baroque exuberance and grandeur,  Andrzej Panufnik’s Violin Concerto commissioned by Yehudi Menuhin and an original piece called Quadra by Tomasz Jakub Opałka, a contemporary Polish composer. Janusz Wawrowski, one of the best Polish violinists of the young generation shall make a guest appearance during the concert.
